While I generally approve of people who desire to date me finding someone else to occupy them instead, I would prefer if the ones that I actually *like* would not go forth and date people who suck.

For one thing, it interferes with my general wish that people would do things that make them happy - when you're dating somebody that sucks, it's only a matter of time until you're miserable, and you can't tell somebody "Hey, your new girlfriend? She sucks. She's going to make you unhappy" - they don't listen, and then they just get mad at you.

For another thing, it makes me think that perhaps, if they want to date people that suck, and they also at some point wanted to date me, that I might also suck, and just not know that I suck.

Grumble grumble.

So, can I get a piece of your pie this weekend? ;-)

I was thinking I'd bring you some pie for the holiday - what kind of pie you like, baby?

Today's innuendo leave me in awe. I haven't had this much fun watching a conversation since college!

Is that innuendo, a request for pastry, or both?

The beauty of it is that there are several interpretations. Here's one: Consider it a disturbingly submissive request for you to pretty please feed me a tart, while you're dressed as a tart.

And now I know that, although I don't get out enough, I may get out more than [livejournal.com profile] zylch.

Yep, I lead a sad, sad life. Poor me. No fun at all. ::puppy-dog eyes::

Hrm... has our [livejournal.com profile] zylch been up to something lately? Inquiring minds, and all that.

nothing I'm not allowed to be. Innuendo is about the closest I can come, so I slip it in wherever possible. Unfortunately, unless the conversation is already clearly headed in that direction, people don't generally bite.

Do you know us? We bite. All the time, in fact.

I'd ask for your fake pumpkins, bgut if given a choice, I generally defer to chocolate. But the connotation of me enjoying chocolate silk mixes too easily wth the blue feather thing... so I will have to think on this. Although it is certainly a better thread to work with than the whole anal sex with dehydrated twinkies thing.
