Things I tell my mother when she asks me why I don't have a boyfriend

1. I really spend so much time volunteering these days that I don't have time to date anyone.

2. I'm making a stand for civil rights. Until gay couples are allowed to marry legally in the US, I refuse to seek out a relationship that could lead to marriage. Solidarity!

3. I don't like people.

4. I'm gay and I don't want to upset grandma.

Possibly more to come, as I talk to mom more often.

Haha, this is like the exact opposite of what I get, "You're still single, right?"

You people are insane though. ;) The dog thing... Yech! Well, unless you mean like eating and being pre-occupied with it's crotch. ;)

I'd say just tell her you're not gay and soon dating men would make you so. :)
