One week left until the Longest Night Ball!
So, you know, if you were gonna get your tickets in advance, now would be a good time. :)

Also, I need a few more volunteers! I particularly need people willing to help wrangle food - this is a mostly "show up in the kitchen and move food out to the buffet table" sort of job, as pretty much everything will be pre-prepared. Any takers?

• Make food: frosted grapes and fruit turnovers

• Check-in with DJ and lightonthesill
  
• Make floral arrangement for reg table
  
• Pick up sodas
  
• Pick up change banks for sales
  
• Remember all the things I forgot to put on the list so far, and do them

You just may be able to take a few strays in as volunteers, druidevo and I , depending on our carpool situation and such, which is not entirely figured yet. Also, and, I haven't been entirely sure if I will be in a frame of mind to help much which is why we haven't volunteered before now -- Sir Dynamo will be taking a flight (his first time on a plane) by himself half way across the county that afternoon, and I haven't yet decided if I should freak out about it or remain optimistic.

BTW, we have those white lights in the trunk of the car so we cannot forget them tomorrow. Well, so druidevo can't forget them, because, alas, I will be tackling globalization while he attends GC. He will also be bringing those crocheted candle holders we discussed. Er, will you be there? I am assuming so if you are trying to find more volunteers?

I have a friend in Lawrence who may want to carpool. He's sans car at them moment but is trying to get his date to drive. :-)

Tables from SMUUCh are a go. Thom said it was ok as long as they were back at SMUUCh before 8:00 am Sunday.
