Apparently I am undergoing some sort of dramatic personality shift. I want one of these. And yet, I do not seem to be at all feverish.

I would perhaps be a bigger fan of hats if I knew more people who could wear them well, or even if I could just find one or two that looked good on *me*. I own one (a Jen Delyth Celtic-accented brimless/porkpie style), and while it's a neat concept, it just doesn't seem to work on me.

I have a deep-seated belief that I look good in hats, but I'm not sure if that's objectively true or not. But you're right, many many people do not look good in hats, or at least, they don't look good in the hats they choose to wear.

I have a difficult time linking the concepts "look good" and "objectively true." =) I'm willing to serve as an additional data point sometime, though.

Yeah, I'll buy that. I suppose I meant something more along the lines of "not certain that I look good in hats to anybody but me". :)

I appreciate all fashion feedback except for "You should never wear a bowler hat again", which would make me cry.

I get told frequently (well when I wear them) that hats look great on me. People go on and on, so I am inclined to believe them. Yet, I don't. Wearing hats just weirds me out. I always think it's one more way that I am noticeable.
