Double teenybopper! The Love Spit Love version is a cover! *horrors*

Ahhh... that's the only one I know, and I know it because of charmed. You don't even want to know the groups I got from Buffy LOL

Not a bad cover, though. Snake River Conspiracy did an industrialized-female-vocal version that's quite nice as well.

Guilty secret: I really liked the Snake River Conspiracy cover. They also did one of The Cure's Love Song that was pretty fun.

Their originals aren't bad either. "You And Your Friend" is particularly entertaining. =) And "Vulcan" is a *fantastic* dance tune.

I think the only original one of theirs that I know is "You're Nobody Till Somebody Hates You", which is sort of fun in a horrid and petty way...

Speaking of which: NOFX covered "Vincent"? I *must* hear this!

We should start a Covers Exchange Program...

Oh, I'm *so* up for that. I've got a playlist on my iPod entitled "Spawn of the 80s" which is mostly covers of 80s tunes, and I'm especially fond on nu-metal covers of 80s songs (Disturbed have done a couple fo brilliant things in this area).

That reminds me, I still owe you a mix CD of 80's Hair Metal. Did you want MP3/OGG or regular format CD? Any special requests?

MP3 (or M4A or other iTunes compatible-format) is just fine, especially if it means that you'll be giving me more than an hour's worth of music. =) No special requests, except to say that I already have Living Colour's entire catalog, so you can take "Cult of Personality" off the list, if it was on the list. Otherwise, knock yourself out, and thanks!

I love their covers of both those songs. They took them and made them their own--just how covers should be done! (plus you gotta like the edge that they added...)
