State of the Monster Report

Yesterday's random poll went well. Serving in heaven barely topped reigning in hell, which was fun. Also, I was the only person who thought it might be better to live on your knees than to die on your feet. My reasoning: as long as I'm living on my knees, there's a better than average chance I can find a way to make the other bastard die on his. I'm pretty patient and resourceful like that.

The rest of yesterday, however, was pretty much a wash. Sinus headache of doom, unexpected nausea, feverbright perception, wobbly on my feet, lack of ability to process things in the right sequence, and so on. The last thing I needed to be doing was teaching a class on ritual. Ha! So that, of course, is exactly what I did. So this post is by way of apology to the students. kittenpants held the class together pretty well, but I was No Help. Feh.

On the upside, I'm feeling much better today. mesniu left me a very entertaining message last night about going to Gnostic Mass tonight. I wish I could go, but I'm already double-booked. (Sadness!) (Actually, I'm feeling a little manic today. Massive changes in input can do that to me.)

Yeah, I was telling him that I want to go, but I want to go when you or he or both are going, so that I am not lost and lonely. The big bad OTO people might eat me. ;) Or, more likely, I will not know how to behave, and need to be told.

I am sorry you have the crud... it is no good. Get better soonly.
