Hey. It was either this, or I was going to post about altered-state experiences over the weekend, and really, I can sum the important bits of that up here in one sentence: Where there should have been some big eff-off serious Gate with Guardians and whatnot, there were two itty-bitty garden gnomes with indigo hats. Oh yeah. I apologize for busting up in the middle of the thing -- it was just so patently ridiculous. I was all on guard and whatnot, and I couldn't see the Gate, so I was pretty sure something was going to jump out and rip off my metaphorical head, and then I look down at my feet, and there are these two garden gnomes. And one of them is winking. It was just more than I could bear with a straight face. But I figure you guys are all used to me anyway, y'know?

Oh, you didn't laugh out loud. I was just standing next to you and, ya know, facilitating the damn thing, so it was sort of my job to notice. The few people in this world who could've borne that with a straight face are no fun anyway.
