Um. Cows?

We're watching Firefly, courtesy of orcjohn. At some point in the series, the Serenity is full of cows. It is a spaceship. Full of cows. No one here seems to grasp how intrinsically funny this is.

Not like strapped-in cows, either. Just cows, milling about in the hold. They have horns. The comic potential is limitless.

I mean, I think cows are the only hoofed mammal that doesn't have it in for me...

They fascinate me, not sure why. I mean just cows in the field, doing cow stuff, mesmerizes me. There are cow herds along the road when I drive the sons to school. I get to watching the cows and not the road. I almost rear ended a woman who had stopped, had her signal on, but the cows had been tagged and were bobbing along with yellow earrings and I got interested and saw her sort of last minute.
Cows obviously have cast an evil spell on me.
