Through sheer laziness and lack of giving a damn, my hair is currently in one of those fantastically awkward in-between stages. From here, I could reasonably see letting it grow out (it is already pretty awful, so the transition to Even More Awful is not that daunting). Or, I could have it cut back to a reasonable short hair length.

So, Great IntarWeb, I perform ritual abasements at your feet. I sing the Seven Songs of Respectful Request. Advise me. What should I do?

Darling featherynscale, you have looked sexier with each successive, shorter haircut. However, I think you ought to stop before you reach the shaved-head stage. For one thing, you've mentioned thinking your head size/shape is weird. It does have some value as a thought experiment, but the growing-out part is a bitch if you don't really love it (I speak from some experience.

Keep it funky short, pretty please?
