Seeking some observational data here. triadruid seems to think I lack self-esteem, and that this lack is holding me back from total world domination. I disagree. I tell him it's lack of ambition.

So if you could, please take a moment and help us decide this issue.

I've always thought you had high self-esteem. If you don't, you hide it very well. :) And it's always seemed to me you had grand ambitions, just not - er - commonly aspired to ones. You know, not being about the mythical American Dream^TM with the white picket fence and all that. Why be normal? comes to mind as a catchphrase. And that takes more self-esteem and ambition and dammit courage than falling in line with the aforementioned mythical American Dream^TM.

And yes, you could rule the world, if you wanted to. Do you want to? is the question that comes to my mind. :D

Of course, you're the one with the psychologist degree, and I haven't seen you more than once a year since what...2001? So I could be totally off base here. *shrug* Hope I've helped more than I've confused.
