Yeah. I got the joke about 15 minutes after posting that, as I was getting in my car to go to work.
I'm really hazy until about 10:30 in the morning. Also, I probably would have gotten it quicker had I not used the word "up" in my post - I thought you were complaining about actual overuse. I even backchecked my posts to see if I did, in fact, say "up" a lot.
Conclusion: I should wait to respond to things until I get home in the afternoons.
Humming the woodchuck song to yourself when they are around might be even better though. 'How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?' which, when hummed, sounds more like some pirate ship deck hand's tune. Hmmm.
Another possibility is identifying them as up-Chuck and wood-Chuck...depending on which one was either nauseating or possibly perky and which was dull as a post. Up to you.
