Sleep hypothesis
Jan. 6th, 2004 10:06 amFinally got enough sleep last night to do some dreaming - not a full night's sleep, but in big enough chunks to be useful, apparently. (Of course, I dreamt that
agrnmn was my Dad, which was fairly disturbing, but still - any dream is better than no dreams, from a mental-processing standpoint). Based on last night's experiments, I believe that I'm not sleeping because of a)brain floods, and/or b)dehydration. So if I can shut off the mental chatter and drink more water before I go to bed, presumably I can sleep.
(Thank you,
triadruid for helping me shift my focus to something external (breaking the feedback loop) and for bringing a glass of water down (which made me think "Hrm... perhaps I should go get my own glass" when I woke up and wandered about in the middle of the night.)
