Adventures!

kittenpants and triadruid have directed me to "have adventures" while they are on their honeymoon. And while I don't take direction well all of the time, I do take direction well some of the time. Hence, it is my intent to have adventures.
In that spirit, I went withkcwitch, opaljax, and druidevo to Karaoke night last night at Sammy's. Sammy's, as it turns out, is a little hole-in-the-wall of a place in KCK. I asked kcwitch "Is that a gay bar or a straight bar?". "Er...,"she said, "it's a witch bar." And so it was. Little bitty neighborhood bar owned by pagans, covered in witchy kitsch. They do karaoke on Friday nights, apparently, and kcwitch is a regular.
It was hellaciously stupid, but also inexplicably fun. I may well go back.opaljax sang a dirty song about looking in people's windows, which was fun, and she was later crowned "Queen of Karaoke", which she was embarrassed by.
Following this excursion, I got up this morning to go to Ritual for Business, and like a complete and total assmonkey, volunteered to manage Winter Bazaar. But that's another adventure, for another day.
