Conversation from Sunday, about my birthday, which is Friday:

[livejournal.com profile] triadruid: You'll be 27, then?
Me: Yep. Fine druid number, that.
Triadruid: You're going to wake up a druid any day now. You'll likely wake up a druid on Saturday.
Me: Seems sort of unlikely.
Triadruid: *shrug* You could maybe wake up *with* a druid then. Three druids, possibly.
Me: Yeah, that sounds okay.
Triadruid: Nine druids, maybe. Do we know nine druids?
Me: I'm going to need a bigger bed.

Eris was invited. Might just put mattresses all over the floor.

Whee! How did your visiting go, and can we look forward to another thrilling Chronarchy story?

By the way, we've had some fabulous new ideas about Flaunt for the Holy Grail, which we will expect you to take part in, as we're scheduling it for when you're in town...

The full story, with pictures, will be on Thusday, I think.

Damn developing. I need a digital camera.

You realize that this is the last time you'll be an age where you can be nn don't you? The next age would be 256 and that's a ways a way...

Nope. Not even close.
44 = 4 x 4 = 16 x 4 = 64 x 4 = 256.

444 is much larger depending on how you group. the smallest would be 2564 or 28 x 4 or 4.3 billion (american, not english). The other would be 4256 or 2512 or about 4 x 10153.

No, darlin'.

When the GC budget starts to involve double-exponents, I will be glad to have your help, honey. :)

There is just no need for that at all.

When the GC Budget starts to involve double exponents, I will pry it from your weird manic grasp and re-write the sumbitch.

(By the way, scroll down, you could have a convert...)

Yup. I'm very excited about that, actually. Unlike some people, I *do* like a math geek, and would likely be one, had I but the brainpower to manage it.

So, uhm, what would I have to do to qualify as a druid by, say, this Friday?

I dunno:

Is your age (or any other appropriate measurement) factorable by 3?
Can you 'sing' in a tempo which makes tortoises itch?
Do you have an affinity for creatures of nature? nevermind, Volfie...
Can you try to get along with dualistic Wiccans?
Do you own either a long white robe, or a long white beard?
Have you ever built a henge out of sticks/river rocks/Sculpey/dinner?

Please submit in triplicate (naturally).

Rolling on the floor here... there was a conversation at dinner last Friday about building a henge out of ...er... feminine hygeine products. The aim of said structure would be to keep the misogynistic supervisors away. Yes, my weird sense of humor strikes again. However, the original suggestion was not mine, but was instead made by [livejournal.com profile] cameellie....

Someone's beat you to it. (http://www.tamponhenge.co.uk/)

Though I have no idea if their structure wards away bosses or not.
