Taken from [livejournal.com profile] chainwoman, with no intention of returning it, especially as I already carved my initials in it.

1. Go to my userinfo page.
2. Pick one person on my friends list you're curious about.
3. Comment with their username.
4. And I will talk "All Kinds Of Shit" about them (I reserve the right to determine what constitutes "All Kinds Of Shit").

Pick anybody you want. I'll tell you about you, or your friend, or whoever, because, you know, who doesn't like to talk about their friends?

OK, cheaters for last. :-P

[livejournal.com profile] featherynscale wants to be Johnny Depp when she grows up, but would settle for being Hunter S. Thompson instead. She curses like a sailor, which isn't surprising, all things considered. She is a reasonably competent human being with pretensions towards magicianhood. She is fond of good whiskey, as she finds that it improves her perceptions and reaction time. She wouldn't ask you to do anything she wasn't willing to try herself, unless it seemed really funny at the time. She's currently serving as a manifestation of the Pillar of Severity, but sometimes uses that as an excuse. She's currently experimenting with the potential for stability in tri-polar systems, clever uses for empty serum vials, and this whole having a real life thing. Documentation to follow.

Systems in which energy flows in an arrangement about three poles. A magnet is a bipolar system - force flows around a positive and negative pole. Most occult systems assume some sort of bipolar system as well - dichotomy of light/dark, masculine/feminine, severity/mercy, what-have-you. In that context, I'm working with a vision of the Tree of Life as a tri-polar system, oriented around the flow of severity/mercy/mildness, and also with an adaptation of wicca that would deal with great mother/horned god/genderless trickster as principles. Could be imagined as a spiral model, like Hegel's thesis/antithesis/synthesis structure. Or maybe not.

That sounds very interesting. If you write anything up about it, I'd be very interested to have a read...

I will endeavor to get off my bum and write about it in some readable-by-the-public format, then, as opposed to fragments that I will later lose any ability to decipher.

My essays-to-write list is getting stupidly long.
