People who do not grasp the fact that if you ring someone and they don't answer, they are likely either 1) not there, 2) on the other line, or 3) avoiding you, and that regardless of which of the three cases it happens to be, ringing them back five seconds later is not going to increase the chances of them picking up much at all.
