lemmings... I wonder where they're going...

Do you like having your picture taken?
No. In my world, that's called *evidence*.

If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go and why?
This is how I know I spend too much time in my head- all places seem more or less the same to me. I think I'd like to go to Las Vegas though. There's just something about wretched excess that makes me giggle.

Have you ever done crossword puzzles?
All the time.

Pick up the closest book and write a sentence at random from it:
Book... dammit, I'm at the office... How about an e-mail?
"As a customer of Chemical Week Associates, we thought you might you might find this information useful."

Do the same with a lyric from either a cd or the radio:

No, I just say "OK, I'll talk to you later" and hang up or click off.

Is your vcr flashing 12:00 all the time?
V...C...R...? I know not of this thing. Perhaps it is some technology of the ancients?

Do you read your horoscope?
I get the Rob Brezny astrology newsletter. Not because I'm particularly interested in my horoscope, but just because reading him always makes me feel better.

Would you rather chew gum or use mouthwash and why?
Gum. Although I'm fond of the little mouthwash geltab sort of things. Mouthwash is a thing that you have to do more or less in one place, the others you can do as you move.

How many times a year about are you sick?
Once or twice.

Ever been in an airplane?
Fairly regularly

What radio station do you listen to most?

Yes, but for whatever reason I'm miserable at it.

What color are your eyes?
Green.

How many surveys have you filled out this lifetime?
Lots.

Name one person your life is made better by:
Just one? Bah. My brother, Orion, for a start.

Can you do math with ease?
Yep.

Nope. I do try to do meatless meals three or four times a week though.

How about an aspiring actor/actress:
Nope. What I really want to do is direct. (I'm sorry for having said that already)

Which movie can you watch and say the lines along with the actors?
Rocky Horror Picture Show, Monty Python & the Holy Grail, Super Troopers, The Nightmare Before Christmas

Name one of your passions in life.
Consciousness.

The few minutes each morning in which I realize that if I don't get out of bed right now, I'm never going to make it to wherever I have to be that day on time.

What color is the inside of your head when you close your eyes?
Black-watch green.

Ever listen to classical music?
Sure.

Have you ever said 'lol' in real life without thinking about it?
No, but I do use 'fubar' as a verb in real life.

What is the best present you've ever given someone else?
Not sure - I always think the best things to give people are ideas and experiences. Most of my best gifts to other people have been books or days/evenings out.

What is the best present someone else has ever given to you?
David gave me a car, which I gave to my ex so he could leave town. The ex and I are much better people now that we're apart.

Do you wear a watch?
Nope. No way am I strapping the symbol of something that causes as much suffering as Time to my body. (Besides, if I had a watch, people would expect punctuality.)

Write one sentence stating what you want people to say about you after you've passed on.
I hope I meet her again someday.

Describe the ideal superpower and what you would do if you had it.
Invisibility at will. Handy for getting into shows without paying and getting out of dull finance meetings.

Planned a parade. :)

Do you wear necklaces, bracelets, anklets, earrings, and rings?
Sometimes. I generally wear small stainless-steel hoop earrings to keep the holes open, and can occasionally be seen to wear other jewelry. I'm fond of chokers.

What's on your computer desk?
Tons of stuff - the interesting bits include a candle, a box of chai spice tea, a button that reads "Evil Geniuses for a Better Tomorrow", and a plastic kiddie ring shaped like a black cat.

No, I prefer the extravagant eye-roll as a marker for sarcasm.

Do you think you're pretty?
I seem to be pretty enough.

What's in your fridge right now?
I'm not sure - I haven't opened it in a while. Odds are good that there's half a pizza that's been there long enough to apply for tenure, several bowls of leftovers of varying edibility, four or five bottles of hot sauce, cheese, blood oranges, a bottle of vanilla coke, a more-or-less intact six-pack of Guinness, und keine eier.

How many people do you live with?
Just me. And Spike, a beta with existential angst. I'm not sure he's a person though, since, as Nirvana pointed out, it's okay to eat fish because they don't have any feet.

I type fast, if that's the same thing.

I'm still struggling through Godel, Escher, Bach, so that might count. I didn't understand much of Finnegan's Wake, but that seemed to be the point, really.

Do people pick up your slang language more than you pick up theirs?
I trade. I love words, and I'll adopt anything I find useful or fun to say.

Have you ever bought anything just because it was a fad?
My first pair of Doc Marten's boots. Of course, that was when I was in high school, and I'm still wearing them, so I think it worked out well.

What would you like to do with your life?
Enjoy it.

Do you bite your nails?
Nope.

Tell me about your dream last night.
Wow. I wish I remembered it. The last one I remember had to do with being suspended in Jell-o, which seemed at the time to be much more enjoyable than I think it would be now.

Are people's perceptions of you usually correct?
I'm not sure. I don't know what they are.

When they start sending rockets to the moon for us civilians, will you be on the list to go?
Hell yes.
