This is a Pippin.
Feb. 10th, 2011 08:38 pmThis Pippin needs somewhere to stay. Ideally, she needs somewhere to stay where she will be the only dog. She's somewhere around 2 years old, black lab and... er... something with a fluffy undercoat. She is good with kids and sweet-natured, but is jealous of other dogs (not aggressive, just anxious, and if someone is paying attention to another dog, she can't stand it). When we had visiting cats, she was largely indifferent to them.
Pippin was born with three paws rather than the usual complement - one of her right legs ends in a sort of stump. This doesn't slow her down any, though. She is currently being fostered from Diana's Grove at our house in Kansas City.
If you're interested in adopting Pippen, or want to know more, drop a comment please. Thanks!

Any time I saw her at the Grove, there were always both large and small dogs around so I can't isolate how she'd react to a small one. But she might look at him more like a cat; it's hard to say. And I honestly think she'll chill out a bit in a situation where there are people around more constantly than we can manage here.
