Now that I'm off the phone with the person currently making me craziest at work, I can get around to the other half of my post for today. This post is for anonymous commentary about things that you're really pleased with, things that you want to recognize for their awesomeness.

Example: "It's totally nice out again today, the sky is clear, and it's practically warm, and things are blooming. Winter is over, and spring, you rock!"

I'm kind of thinking I'll match these two against each other. Will there be more Fuck Yous or more You Rocks? Place your bets now. :)

I'd like to say a big F-YOU to my SOFTWARE company for having a very very top heavy manager to developer ratio. And also for making it so stressful around here that we're losing 3 of 8 developers within the next two weeks.

People at my work are actually SPEAKING to each other and responding to odd requests with WHY-questions so we can build solutions that respond to people's actual needs ... instead of just doing whatever people say they want us to.

It feels great to be working in an environment that is like one of those "how to succeed in business" best sellers as the GOOD example instead of the BAD example.

I love my career choice on days like this.

Kansas City, MO just passed a city ordinance last week forbidding discrimination based on gender identity. That pretty much rocks any day.

Getting a check at work for just surviving another year working here this morning was awesome.

The fact that I have a window-wall in my office. (Good thing it's behind me or I'd never get any work done.)

There's a beautiful, yet unidentified, pinky-purple blossomed tree outside my window & all manner of birds frequent the tree & feeder hanging in it.

A pair of mourning doves were ground scavengering just on the other side of my window & I heard one of them cooing through the glass.

Id like to state that three people have restored at least a portion of my faith in humanity, by climbing the golden gate bridge to bring attention to whats going on in china. 700 ft above a bay, now thats what I call a protest! well done!

The weather rocks for finally being not winter. I have a wonderful breeze blowing through the house right now and it feels fantastic.
