I've had it auto-running in the background for a while. Every now and then, I pop over and look in on it. It's really sort of nifty.

For the record, I played it and my flower evolved into something short and stumpy with -- I shit you not -- a black flower.

My superpower even works in virtual reality. I kill virtual plants.
