Came home to find a package has arrived, containing socks and arm-warmers! Verdict on arm-warmers: I still have no idea what one wears them with, but there's something extremely comforting about having them on. Approval.

Could be true. My motives for not wearing sleeveless things have shifted over the last few years from "OMG that is far too much skin to be showing" to "wearing sleeveless tops means I will be cold indoors".
