So far, the best thing about today is that I received a box of tea that I ordered from Upton Tea Imports. I am currently drinking something very delightful and caramelly. I am also ignoring the fact that the acronym for the tea company is UTI, which I would almost certainly have to say something terrible about if I noticed it.

In addition to the caramelly thing, I have:
- a congou with rose petals in.
- two varieties of assam without anything else added in.
- an assam with spice and vanilla.
- something called "monk's blend". I have forgotten what it is, so it will be very exciting to drink.

They also carry a chai with cayenne pepper in, which I was all gung-ho about, until I realized it was decaffeinated. I am suspicious of this. I will likely try it anyway, though, since you can get practically any of their teas in little five cup 'sample packs' for a dollar or 1.50. They're like tea imps. I find that practically irresistible.

something called "monk's blend"

Sweet fancy donuts, they make tea out of monks now! It's like the cookies made out of girl scouts.

If that's it, I'll expect it to be sort of er... papery.

Decaffeinated chai? Weird... now, chai with cayenne in it is fabulous.

And I'm a sucker for vanilla black tea... but what spice? How ambiguous... I'd definitely buy it if I saw it in a store.

I don't know what spice yet, but I'll report back when I've tried it. :)

Spice = clove and orange peel, apparently. Very tasty, but it sort of overpowers the vanilla.
