Well done, y'all -- you named 8 of the 10 most challenged books in school libraries in 2006.

The list you got is here. The two that didn't get mentioned were #2, the “Gossip Girls” series by Cecily Von Ziegesar (for homosexuality, sexual content, drugs, unsuited to age group, and offensive language), and #8, “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” by Stephen Chbosky (for homosexuality, sexually explicit, offensive language, and unsuited to age group).

Points:
[livejournal.com profile] fionnabhar - 7
[livejournal.com profile] matchgirl42 - 4
[livejournal.com profile] dramaticaddict - 3
[livejournal.com profile] loraca - 1

If that was amusing enough to bother with again, I'll have a new Top Ten on Friday.

Oh, no, I figured you could keep on guessing.

What keeps someone from guessing 9 times in a row, then?

Nothing. If you know all of the things, though, you should get points for that.

Hmmm. That doesn't gel well with the "people in different time zones/LJ reading habits can play this game" intention, though.

You can guess once a day? Once between every time someone gets a right answer?

I dunno. This list went on for a couple of days. I don't see too much reason to make it any more complicated than it is. I don't think it's broken, but if it turns out to be, I'll alter it.

I do adore your impulses towards better game design, though. :)

Maybe you can screen the answers?? But then you get going on the giving multiple people points for the same answer....

Or maybe a time delay? Say, think about it, and....

nah. Never mind. Shutting up now.

for what it's worth

I thought it was great fun to keep guessing, even if it didn't bring me any closer to being right. Ever.

For me, it was more a "the more I think about it" issue, and I came up with other ideas. I was never 100% sure any of them were correct, just that they seemed possible. I had no idea that someone might think I was cheating or anything. I thought it was just for fun. *shrug*

Me too! I'm perfectly happy to have people keep guessing.

FYI, I was in the car during the initial "design" of the game, and obviously assumed things about the way it was set up that weren't intended.
