Yesterday I learned:
- How to straight-lace a bodice
- That when I straight-lace my red leather bodice, it almost gets small enough for me to wear properly now, except that this throws off the whole proportion of the thing so that I have slightly too much room in the back and no room at all for my tits in the front. WTF.

Sooo. Does anybody want to buy/barter for a lovely red leather bodice, well-loved, in reasonably good condition? I got it from Crimson Chain out at Faire, and it has stiff leather boning, epaulets and a tabbed bottom edge. It fits people, er... slightly larger than me, except with slightly smaller boobs. I got fitted recently at 34DDD, so I think that if you wore something in the 36-38 range, it would work for you. I found it extremely comfortable and easy to wear, when I could wear it.

Crap, crap, crap. I know what I won't wear at Dragon*Con now. :(
Luckily, I bought a frock coat last year. And I have my hat back. :)

If it doesn't fit zylch I might be interested... :D I'm at a 38 DDD, though I am shrinking a bit as well. Might be a case of wearing it this year and passing it on for next.

If it doesn't work on her, you get the next go at it. I suspect it would fit you fine, because that's about the size I was wearing when I bought it.

You could always try and straight-lace it up half way and then cross-lace it the rest of the way. Just an idea, don't know if it'll work.

Hm. I'm wondering if the black leather bodice I have might fit you. I love it, but it just doesn't work as well as my burgundy one. You are more, um, perky than I am, and it might work for you. I will put it in the trunk of my car, and we can try it out later, if you'd like. However, you may have just lost too much weight, and it may not fit you right. We could see.
