EDIT: And in case anybody's interested, I'm not a survivor. Skills aside, I'm sort-of value-engineered, and I require regular outside chemical input to sustain my processes. So in case of Zombie Apocalypse, you better get me to write down anything useful I happen to know.

This is part of why I refuse to allow myself to rely on chemical input. In case of Zombie Apocalypse (or just lack of insurance to pay for drugs), I'm good to go. Also, this past year has seriously upped my survival potential. I'll be throwing spears at the zombies with atlatls long after everyone else has used up all their ammo!

Also, if the survivors need to skin a beaver or melt bronze in a bellows-driven furnace, you're there. Note to others who would survive Zombie Apocalypse: Get zylch on your team.

A decent bow isn't hard to make, and I've been good with them in the past. Heck, a decent crossbow isn't that hard to make. I'm also a good hand with a couple kinds of slings.

Never actually used an atlatl before, though I'd love to try it.

And like I said below, I can function without drugs, I'm just a lot crazier without them. I see no need to let myself be crazier now just because I might have to tolerate being crazier later...
