Things that I suspect may be true

and that I discovered over the weekend:

- The tattooing process hurts more when you look at it.
- Spring rolls have an outer texture not entirely unlike skin. If it weren't for the whole cabbage thing, they'd be an entirely enjoyable experience.
- Despite how busy all of my friends are, and how much stuff we all get done, a lot of them still seem to have time to speculate about my sex life.
- More people seem to want to have sex with me than I previously thought reasonable.
- You learn interesting stuff when you ask people "Why do you say that?"
- The game of Kemetic Unorthodox Rat-Screw is, in fact, winnable - you just have to have the will to keep playing.
- Four hours of sleep is no longer enough.

Yeah - I've got one on the back of my neck that I swear did not hurt at all. This one though, is on my ankle and I got to watch the whole process. I think the next one's going to go back to a place where I can't see it being done.

I have one small one on the small of my back and the only bit that hurt was when he crossed my spine. the next one will go under that one, so I'm not too concerned about it, but I am totally chickenshit when it comes to getting anything that I'll be able to watch him do.

Nope, it wasn't that you were watching. Tattoos hurt when the needle bounces off bone. Ankle tattoos are notoriously painful. I have two tattoos...one above the pubic hair line...I watched that and it didn't hurt at all, even into such a senstive nerve ganglia. The one on my back, which is right on the upper edge of the pelvis hurt like hell, but only when he was running the needle over the edge of the pelvis, not any of the rest of it.

My grandfather, who was massively tattooed, said the most painful one he got was the woman's portrait he bore right on his breastbone.
