Yeah. He doesn't mention that many of the discoveries will be discoveries you've made several times before, or that some of them will be the sort of discovery in which you discover something that was due last Tuesday. But there you are.

I do that often! BTW, speaking of discoveries, didn't you guys have the Diablo II Strategy guides? If you do and you have discovered them lately, may I borrow them? I simply cannot get past the demon at the end of the second act in Tal Rashas chamber. DRIVING ME CRAZY!

I believe one of those may have come with triadruid's copy of the game. I won't really have a moment to look for it until Thursday, though.

Until then, my advice is this: set up your Tome of Town Portal as a hotkey and teleport frequently. Also, the thing can't be frozen, so if you're trying that, you're wasting an aura or something. What character class are you?

Level 28 Paladin. I know he can't be frozen, but even with a big resistance to it, (which I have) he freezes me enough, to where I can't get away from him fast enough, and in 4 hits, I'm dead. :(

Ouch. Very few of the melee classes can take him on toe-to-toe, because of the freezing aspect. Spellcasters have a much easier time, and parties as well, because one person can take the heat while the others blast him, then switch.

It's VERY hard to get enough hits in between freezings unless you've got someone to take the hits with you... I only soloed Duriel a couple of times. Unfortunately all of our characters are deleted by now...
