HGA to Brain: Settle Down, Beavis.

Last night I dreamed of being somewhere warm. There was a gathering of people that I think of as 'my people'. We're in a theater, or maybe an aquarium. One of these people leads me backstage, where there is a large gem sale or swapmeet going on. He points me towards a table full of polished chrysocolla. "You'll want some of these," he says.

I looked up the symbolic attributes of chrysocolla today to find that it's supposed to be a sort of soothing, calming influence, and proof against ulcers. Ha.

They are lovely, and copper-based. I have a deep and abiding love for copper. They're also wildly expensive in that grade -- the strands pictured are being sold by the supplier for $100+.

I can get some lower-grade stuff for about $20 a strand, and I think I might like some.

HGA = Holy Guardian Angel. Could be compared to agathos daimon, ti bon ange, higher self, 'sacred dove', depending on the system. Also, depending on one's interpretation, I may not have one, as people with female bits are supposed to be innately plugged into the mystery of the sacred or some such thing and not need the intermediary guide. I sort of figure I've got one anyway.
