So I've been living in Carey & David's apartment for a few weeks, in prep to move with them to the new house. All well, all good. They're buying the house, I'm essentially letting from them. All well, all good. For the past few days, there has been some doubt that the closing on the house would go according to plan, and that we would in fact have anywhere to go at the end of the month.
But everything did work out, they closed this morning, and there is a house, and we can all go and live there. (Yay) However, I had to learn about the outcome of the thing on the gaia e-list. Couldn't even get a note saying - Oh, by the way, we're not going to be homeless, and you're not either.
Maybe I'm just bitchy today, but that bothered me.

All I am saying is to be patient and try to talk to one or the other or both (if you try to talk to both together make sure to have some jelly or cheese product on hand, and maybe some summer sausage). It could be a simple misunderstanding.
*Sigh* I wish I was in Disney World right now ...

Probably just being petty.
What is this fascination you have with summer sausage? For that matter, what is summer sausage? Do people outside the midwest eat it?

I'm not sure of the regional factor; didn't see any at Disney World, but, then, they tend towards something a little less picnic-ish in their eateries.
