I don't know if I mentioned or not, but [livejournal.com profile] kittenpants and I will have a booth in the art and craft show at North KC's Snake Saturday, this Saturday, 3/10. If you have a desire in your heart to own some of Kittenpants' art or lovely jewelry made by me, you might drop by.

Also, seriously, I need to break into the newage* jewelry market. I'm working too hard.

*rhymes with sewage. There is a reason for this.

Damn! They are getting $70-120 for that crap? Heck I've seen those agate chips selling for a buck or 2 at faire. It must be the stupid cord that makes it worth $70.

I think it's the Spirityooal Blessing Angel Powah. On account of how I can get the ribbon for about $10 for a spool of 25 yards. Angel woo-woo, though, is apparently expensive.

Did you miss the "star" bracelet for the bargain price of $35?

Holy crap! Those crystals you can get from Pyramid Collection for like $6/each. I haven't priced them in my jewelry/bead/pieces parts catalogue. Seriously, Angel Woo-Woo (for that price, it gets capitalized) must be pricey.

Well, if I were an angel, I'd be charging an arm and a leg, I guarantee you.

I think I'll stick to the ritual tools market, myself. How much do you reckon a stone blade made completely without the use of metal tools would fetch from a fairy person?

Dunno -- if it's ritual knives of any kind, you're basically selling to Wiccans and people who are practicing some sort of wicca-based paganism. (And possibly ceremonials, but they're supposed to make their own shit, technically.) And Wiccans/wicca-based pagans have no money, as a rule.

If you want to make ritual tools for people with money, it seems to be true that you have to go for the GoddessAngelWooWooCrystalWhiteLightShinesOutMyButtocks crowd. They don't do knives, because knives are part of the Evil Penis Conspiracy, and/or Sharp Things Hurt People. Or something. Can you make cups? Cups are big. Or talismans. That seems to work, too.
