I just snorted warm sage tea through my nose.

Oddly enough, that has made my head feel better.

I'm thinking of taking it up as a regular practice.

Was going to mention the neti pot, but kittenpants ruthlessly absconded with the idea. To expand on it, however, I might experiment with the process, using green tea, melaleuka tea, lemon tea, or Tiger Spice.
