Dreams and the Bazaar

Apparently, I spent too much time yesterday thinking about 8elements' alternate lives. I dreamt last night a vast mishmash of possible me... Blech. The important part was that recurring throughout all the lives was a dragon-shaped hole. Everybody acted like it was a dragon, but it was always visually represented by the arrangement of other objects around it, so that they would outline a dragon. The dragon itself was never seen, just a dragon-shaped space where other things weren't. In one part of the dream, we took it to the movies, and the movie was about a dragon, but it wasn't a dragon, just a dragon-shaped space. And so on. Also, at one point, it rained caterpillars, which I cannot abide. Caterpillars are the world's tumorous outgrowths and they make me ill.

All of this, as horrible as it was, was not enough to wake me. What woke me was a sequence in which I was trying to plan the Winter Bazaar, and crimson_owl was on the phone asking me to explain to him every detail of everything that was going to happen at the event.

The Winter Bazaar is eating my soul. I think it will be someone else's job next year. Had I been bright enough to build a best practices book last year, it would have been someone else's job *this* year, but I was lazy. Not so this time -- who inherits the job from me will also inherit a wiki on the damned thing. Surely that will absolve me of the guilt of handing someone else the job, right?
