Note to self:

Apparently, the unidentifiable "chili" sauce on the Ruby Tuseday Thai shrimp is one of those egg-based sort of things. :( I was afraid of that.

If anyone needs me, I'll be under my desk.

No, in my mind, a chili sauce would be either a sweet/sour sort of sauce (which would be corn-based? who knows!) with chili flakes, or a paste like a Sriracha. This was sort of an orange creamy kind of a thing that ostensibly had some chilies in it somewhere. Not entirely unlike the sauce in a spicy tuna roll, except creamier and less spicy. I looked at it and thought, "Should I eat that? I don't know... could be trouble. On the other hand, it could be fine, and it's all over everything, and I've already ordered this..." These thoughts are forbidden from returning to the premises of my brain. If I see them again, I will shoot them for trespassing.

My mom suffers migraines and a lot of food triggers it, so she always asks. Eating with her is an education into what restaurants put in food, sometimes I roll my eyes because she asks if something has msg or citrus, only to find out it does.
