Half the people showed up in shorts and sandals due to the heat. My favorite part of the evening was the eight on eight battle lines. Looked like something out of Braveheart. We all had a blast, and I say that in spite of ending up soaked to my knees in sweat and having my ass handed to me many times. Everyone should have a go.

Good show on the perfect boffer costuming +1, black and camo are the international boffer colors. At least until the group discovers heraldry. 8-)

Sorry about the cock-shots... when you scoot your hips back it sort of forms a 'pocket' for the spear. A good alternative is to roll the hips back and to the side, which will deflect the shot into a graze. 8-)
