- A letter to my daughter, who has recently converted to Christianity and stopped speaking to me.
- The pie-throwing incident of Macon County, 1918.
- A news story about an outbreak in the metro.
- Something about a quantum dandelion.
- A new take on faeries/Faerie.

No, if it's actually in Discworld it's a bit character in Ankh-Morpork that you see briefly in connection with either the assassins or the thieves. Perhaps an assassin or a thief runs through their shop?

I don't remember. Perhaps I made it up. That happens every now and again.

Ah, of course, ask Google, Google points me to Wikipedia...

Terry Pratchett, in his Discworld series of books, describes the practice of Retrophrenology as the practice of altering someone's character by giving them bumps on the head. You can go into a shop in Ankh-Morpork and order an artistic temperament with a tendency to introspection. What you actually get is hit on the head with a large hammer, but it keeps the money in circulation and gives people something to do.

Wikipedia is full of useful information! Thank you for clearing that up for me. I often have trouble remembering if things really did happen, or if they hadn't actually happened, but I thought they should really hard.
