I'm thinking of cancelling Saturday's flaunt - I'm too tired and too busy to plan anything really spectacular, and asking for help has produced several promises-without-follow-up, one investigation into transportation, and one lecture on why flaunts shouldn't flaunt to a pub or other alcohol-vending establishment. (Apologies to loviedovie, who actually did help in the process, just that her very good idea turned out to be out of our price range...)
So I think maybe instead of doing it in a half-assed way, we should just not do it at all. Don't know. I'm going to call the other people who seemed interested in helping and see if we can salvage the project, but I'm not feeling terribly optimistic about it.
