It's going to be one of those days. I hit [livejournal.com profile] chronarchy's web page for a little divination, and got a Buffett and a Homer that were both about fighting and winning, which is all good and everything, but just for personal amusement, I hit his Christian oracle generator and got this:

23. What....?

I smell doom.

Do you have a page somewhere that lists your source materials for that one? I was sort of half-assedly looking for them, but didn't see that.

*nods*

It's text 126 from a book called Ancient Christian Magic. Here're the technical stats on the oracle:

Text: Vatican Coptic Papyrus I
Description: papyrus, 12 leaves, about 15.5 x 11.5 cm (the first fragmentary leaf measures 11 x 2.5 cm); seventh-eigth century (so Emilien Sarti)
Bibliography: A. van Lantschoot, "Une collection sahidique de 'sortes sanctorum'"
Translator: Marvin Meyer
