You know what rocks?
Apr. 11th, 2006 01:24 pmFinding a copy of an out-of-print book in an obscure subject area for $7.95, when you thought you were going to have to pay a collector $60.00 plus for it, or not get it at all. That rocks.
Downside? According to Powells.com, book is underlined or written in. Well, hell, kids. *I* was gonna write in it.
Yay!

Probably my most savingest find was collection of the Encyclopedia of Occultism and Parapsychology. I found it for $50, it was $350 most places and $500 retail. Yay!

Date: 2006-04-11 08:57 pm (UTC)This is Cassell's Encyclopedia of Queer Myth. Not terribly rare, but out of print, and possibly the only thing out there that covers glbt/etc. themes in mythology and symbolism across cultures.
Your fish is much bigger :-P
