This post is all about triadruid's nose, but the rest of you are welcome to be horrified along with us.

For years now, we've been telling triadruid that we could clear up his perpetual stuffiness by putting a balloon up his nose and inflating it, angioplasty style. There is always a sort of ha-ha-yeah-right quality to the response to this suggestion, so it is with great and horrified delight that I present to you all the fact that doctors are actually doing this now.

Oddly, this comes just after talking with CrazyOtto about sinus surgery... I thought removing tissue was pretty silly, I figured they would just get a straw in there to drain things. The Sinuplasty concept seems like something I might have suggested... why this is new, I have no idea. Especially when you have www.lasikathome.com available. ::evil grin::
