featherynscaleIf only pettiness were an Olympic competition, I'd be poised for gold today. No fun. The persistence of my emotional baggage is fantastically boring even to me. On the other hand, I don't seem to be the only one suffering from this sort of thing today. Something in the stars, maybe (the snarky voice in my head says, "Yeah. Your ass is retrograde again.").

rio_luna was going to marry adammaker, or possibly he thought that she was going to marry him, I'm not certain. We went over to his house to convince him that this was a poor plan. I mean, even though they are both lovely people and would probably get on quite well together, there's something about marrying someone you've never met before that I tend to frown upon. So we get out there, and he's all very amiable about the whole thing, but he is wearing a suit that involves a sack full of fish and pine cones over his regular clothes, which is odd (and the snarky little voice in my head says, "Gee. I wonder what that could mean, Dr. Freud?" To which I reply, "I think it means I ought not to sit on the couch next to him, really.").
Somewhat later, the gentleman that she really means to marry comes in, but it turns out that he is an ex-boyfriend ofkittenpants, and that he once taught kittenpants to summon demons. Then, another guy comes in and is dressed as a monster. I think that might have been jackjob, but I'm not 100% certain. Anyway, we feel like we've gotten the who's-marrying-who situation straightened out, and adammaker seems sort of bummed at the error. So we go home, possibly on a greyhound bus. I think I end up having sex with kittenpants on the bus, though, so that's all good.
