Happy Anniversary, kittenpants and triadruid!!

Yeah, nothing in Southern etiquette has prepared me for today. And nobody makes cards that are at all appropriate. Maybe Nine Fires could do a "Happy Anniversary to my Partners" card, or something. It's a niche market, but hey. Anyway. Yeah.

I don't know of any etiquette in Western culture that covers it.

And yeah, it's so hard to find anything at all appropriate in a card.

(Though one of the ones I gave to Amy on her recent birthday really worked. It said on the front, "I wanted to get you something impractical for your birthday..." and on the inside, "But you already have a husband.")

What a fabulous card. I read a story the other week about a line of cards for adulterers that said things like "I can't live without you, even if I have to share you"... it's closer, but we're so much less desperate and sneaky, you know?
