Moviegoers cite poor quality/selection of films as reason for reduced box-office takes.

Glad to hear that's out in the open now.

Memo to studios: Stop chasing pirates, start making more interesting films. Not that there haven't been a few decent ones lately, just that, well, most of what's been out this year has been sequels, remakes, sequels to remakes, or remakes of sequels. I'm just saying.

And don't forget the prequels, remakes of prequels, and prequels of remakes. I'm just saying.

For what it's worth, twixxa and I have seen two more Mike Leigh films that are worth a watch: Topsy-Turvy and All or Nothing. I'm starting to heart Timothy Spall in a major sort of way.
