This is a cry for help

As most of you know, we're off to DragonCon over Labor Day weekend. This is good.

However, there are a couple of things we need some help on, if someone would be so kind:

1) saffronhare/agrnmn: Can we come over tonight or tomorrow and use your sewing machine?
2) General population: Could someone come over and feed the beasties? druidevo said he would take care of it, but that was before the thing about moving to Lawrence. We will feed them Friday morning, but the Black Beast is used to getting fed daily lately, and the Small Spotted Beastie goes through a bowl of frisks every two days or so. We'll be back late Monday, so we're probably just talking Saturday/Sunday here.
3) Also general population: Does anybody have a pair of black fingerless gloves (short, not elbow-length), and/or a black coat with tails that they would be willing to loan us for the trip?

IIRC, the Spotted Beastie food is somewhere in the upstairs bathroom with the Spotted Beastie's bowl, and the Black Beastie's food is somewhere in the Garage of Doom (and Stuff). What quantities are appropriate for the respective critters?

You are correct on location.

The Black Beastie gets a green bowlful of food every day (I feed him in the afternoons when I get home, but being a dog, he's pretty adaptable). The Spotted Beastie gets a bowl of frisks as necessary, i.e. just check the bowl and refill if it's empty.

The Black Beastie takes his water from the kiddie pool (as long as it's warm enough that the kiddie pool doesn't freeze over), but we will refill him before we leave, so he should be okay on water. The Spotted Beastie has a clever coke-bottle sort of container attached to the feeding dish, which also we will fill, but you might want to look at, just to be sure. She's very pathetic when she notices she's out of water.
