OK then

I've been up for an hour and a half this morning. In that time, I have:

• Gotten news in my email which will likely make the next 5 months of my life more difficult.
  
• Left my building security card at home.
  
• Grabbed my morning caffiene-vector from the wrong box. (Diet Coke with Splenda = foul beyond reckoning.)
  
• Stood at the guest entrance (no security card, right?) to the office calling everyone in the building for over ten minutes, finding nobody at their desk to come and let me in.
  
• Recieved a note from HR saying that this week we have to dress up on Friday rather than down.
  

So I don't know if that bodes DOOM for the rest of the day, or if it's just that I'm getting all of the irritating things for the whole week taken care of this morning.

When they told us to dress up on friday, I went fully formal, using my young republican 3-piece suit with power tie, Mensa tie tack, and gold pocketwatch.

Of course that ended up being a joke. Feh...
