[livejournal.com profile] clevergirl: Raw sea urchin. It's bright screaming yellow, looks like an oversized tongue, tastes of dirty seawater, and has the texture of... er... something exceedingly awful.

[livejournal.com profile] greektoomey: Yes, of course. And I'm not sure -- depends on who shows up, and how many of them manage to drag home. I haven't planned much at this point.

[livejournal.com profile] greektoomey, part 2: I wasn't certain that there was any. I tend to assume that there isn't, as a general rule. It seems more polite that way. So, I tried to answer in a way that would be true whether or not there was.

[livejournal.com profile] wolfieboy: Not this year, certainly, unless there is a dramatic change in my financial situation. Perhaps next year? I don't know. It's certainly on the to-do list. EDIT: Now it's really on the list -- [livejournal.com profile] kittenpants put it on the house wiki. :-p
Also, I didn't think that there was a way that the sea urchin could be any worse, but now, somehow, it is. Well done, there.

::I think I just read [livejournal.com profile] wolfieboy's mind::

It is most definitely on the list, albeit the long-term list. I even added it to our PBWiki. I <3 the Pacific Northwest.

Hit or miss?

I was wondering if that were in response to the post, or if it had just simultaneously occurred to you :)
You're good, you know?

Ah, yes, politeness. I've heard of that. Never been able to get the hang of it, myself; all my attempts to figure it out have left me feeling like a monkey trying to teach himself chess. I do apologize if I caused any offense.

Not a bit offended, just didn't want to make assumptions about your motives. It's a recurring issue for me, not wanting to make assumptions about other people's motives.

Does your no-assumption issue also preclude inuendo, inferences & implications?

No, I usually accept innuendo, inferences and implications, but it helps if you make them in a Groucho Marx sort of voice. Or waggle your eyebrows.
