Apparently, pain makes me cranky and argumentative.

Not that I'm not, you know, cranky and argumentative most of the time.

But following an all-day dancing and schlepping extravaganza which my fat ass was woefully unprepared for and which has left my knees, ankles, back and neck abused and complaining loudly about it, apparently that's when I really want to pass my antisocial nature and existential angst on to you. (Not that it wasn't fun. It was fun. But damn.)

Sorry about that.

Blue Valkyrie needs Ibuprofen badly.

My ass is fine... it's the knees mostly at this point. They're persnickety. I'm getting better though. I'm even mostly awake now.

And we even out naturally -- don't worry about it. I generally perceive myself as being behind on favors anyway.

Ick. As hot and sweaty as everybody was, eating in that space would have been almost untenable. Everyone would have died.
Although the last potluck hardly made me want to run and scream and yank out my eyeballs at all. I can handle them at about 30 people. At 70 people, though, certain death.
