If my life were a film, who do you think would play the main parts and who would direct?

note: As noted by [livejournal.com profile] druidevo, this is not which actor do these folk most look like, but who could most likely pull off playing them.

We had to laugh, we BOTH thought of you as Winona Ryder... or maybe Christina Ricci.

From: [identity profile] featherynscale.livejournal.com
That's cool. In the film of my world, I'd have Jeff Goldblum cast as you, and Reese Witherspoon as Mik.

We saw the new Christina Ricci flick this weekend, btw. It was awful with a capital dreck.

Jeff Goldblum... that's funny, since I have FLY hairs growing out of my nose, eyebrows, and toes.

oh we used to play this all the time in Denver! Actully it was one big movie. Neil Warren Noted Thelemite was played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, which if you've seen Neil's puny physique, you'd laugh.

I am alwasy played by Wesley Snipes. Because I want to see Wesley in a pink sundress with mary janes, twirling a parasol yelling "Motherfucker! Load me a bong hit and fetch me a Daiquiri"

But you hmmmm....man that's tough. lmme think on it.

Thora Birch. And John Waters should direct.

From: [identity profile] featherynscale.livejournal.com
Sweet. As much as I'd like to see Wesley Snipes play you in a pink sundress, I'd probably opt for Rosie Perez. The dialogue, though, would remain the same.

From: [identity profile] rio-luna.livejournal.com
Rosie is too on the nose, too Hey look at me I'm a Latina actress.

But thanks for not recommedning JLo.

PS Matt is alwasy played by malkovich. How's that for type casting? "Just stand here John, and blink."

Date: 2005-03-07 03:29 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] featherynscale.livejournal.com
It's not the latina so much as the yelling. Nobody can yell like Rosie Perez. Also, J. Lo is not funny. My next choice would probably be Rita Rudner, but she's dead.

I have no other options for Matt. Malkovitch it is.

Then may I suggest

oooooooooh, Wesley Snipes in a pink sundress. Let me wipe the drool off my chin now. I'm not really a big fan of Wesley Snipes, unless he is in a dress.

Kinda out there, but here goes:

[livejournal.com profile] featherynscale--Bridget Fonda
[livejournal.com profile] kittenpants--Liv Tyler
[livejournal.com profile] triadruid--Pauly Shore James Spader, who is too old, but there you go
Francis Ford Coppola will direct.

i have totally wanted to fuck James Spader since before I could drive. And the older fatter and sleazier he gets, the more I want to fuck him.

he's like a very fine, sordid wine.

He was a tough call. I wasn't entirely happy with that casting decision. Will think on it more.

Date: 2005-03-07 04:18 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] featherynscale.livejournal.com
No, it's probably a good call. He's got the utter calm and aura of in-control. Spader's just a tad creepy, that's all. I mean, I suppose that [livejournal.com profile] triadruid could be creepy, if he were so inclined.

Date: 2005-03-07 04:35 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] saffronhare.livejournal.com
Yup. Our boy [livejournal.com profile] triadruid can be creepy. He's not so naturally smarmy as James Spader. Sure, I'd fuck him. I just wouldn't trust him.

Oh, c'mon now. Don't ruin my imprecise pronoun fun here. You know it's James Spader that I don't trust. He's got great lips, though.

Well, yeah, but not 'cause she looks like her. Megan has the capacity to play [livejournal.com profile] kittenpants. Ya know, complexity and stuff, plus she's gorgeous (both of them, of course).

Actually, she doesn't look much like her in that shot, but they do have a certain (complimentary) physical resemblance. Google Image search is my (non-TV-watching) friend.

and somebody really good with the special effects thing should direct it. I'm still thinking on [livejournal.com profile] triadruid.

Hoo, boy.

This is a tough one. For this instant only, and perhaps no other, I'd say this:

[livejournal.com profile] featherynscale = Johnny Depp
[livejournal.com profile] triadruid = Tilda Swinton
[livejournal.com profile] kittenpants = Sophia Loren

Please note that I'm talking about the way you are present in the world, not the way you all look.

Subject to change:

[livejournal.com profile] featherynscale = Mae West
[livejournal.com profile] kittenpants = Raquel Welch
[livejournal.com profile] triadruid = Billy Boyd (although I still like James Spader)
Mom = Jennifer Tilly
Dad = Richard Moll
Emperor K (C?) = Christopher Walken
D. (Giraffe Boy) = Malcolm McDowell
The Ex = Eric Stoltz
From: [identity profile] featherynscale.livejournal.com
Mae West is my hero. "Ten men are here to see me? I'm tired -- send one of them home."

All good choices... I like you much better as Billy Boyd -- You have your James Spader moments, but that's usually when I leave the room.

I'm a little concerned about Christopher Walken as Emperor Kristoff, though...
