Hell. I'm a magician and a subjectivist as well. The fact that I think it's bullshit does not in any way mean that it doesn't work, at least sometimes. Understand, from my point of view, nothing's "real" except for mathematics, and even that's operations and symbol sets that we've generally consensed mean something. So eh. If you've got suggestions, I'm willing to give them a go. Chaoist, right? If it works, do it, whether you believe in it or not.
well astrology is very much based in geometry, so that bears out. and some think the influence has more to do with light levls and direction at the time of your birth, than the actual planets.
