Last night I dreamed that in order to succeed at a job interview, I had to have a teal suit that I couldn't afford (nevermind the absurdity of that premise, it's only a premise, after all). I was walking through Westport (the role of Westport in this evening's entertainment was played by Atlanta's Little 5) trying to decide how best to break into a shop to steal the teal suit. Suddenly, I was in the midst of a group of fratboys who were verbally abusing me for the heinous crime of being unlovely to look upon. They swept me into a Kinko's copy shop, where they made a lot of photocopies of something that looked to be a lab journal, and then tried to get me to pay for the copies. I blew them off with extra scorn and left. They followed me down the street, but I wasn't concerned about them.

The next thing I knew, I met up with Joe Lieberman. He wanted me to help him break into a church across the street to steal the sheep out of their Nativity display, and some other incidental items. I lectured him on his ethical responsibilities as a congressman, and he left, but then I ended up breaking into the church by myself anyway. I didn't get the sheep, but I did get the fabric that they drape over the cross at Lent, thinking somehow that I could make a suit out of that. I never got the chance to try though, since my theft aroused a number of sleeping golems in the church, who chased me out of the building and through the streets, past the Junkman's Daughter and into a parking lot, which was when I woke up.

One would almost think I was supposed to be in Atlanta this weekend, or something.
