The ChaosHound has resumed his tenure at EHQ, at least for the time being. Further than today, who can say, who can say, tomorrow seems so far away, who can say, who can say.
I picked him up from TCP yesterday to take him in for vaccination. "How's mah dawg?" I say to
agrnmn.
"He's fine," quoth he, "He was a little mopey for a while, but then he started to fart a lot and that seemed to cheer him up."
"Maybe he was constipated," says I.
agrnmn says, "Or perhaps he ate a squirrel", as if, for all the world, he was merely advancing an alternate hypothesis with equal weight to the first, and not at all as if he had in fact seen squirrelly bits in the yard arranged in the distinctive pattern that says "I have been eaten by a large dog", which of course, I later found out was actually the case.
Ah well. He's a dog. I expect squirrel-eating out of him.
And he was much better behaved in the vet's office than last time (which is only to say that he didn't piss on the dog food display in the front office). He would not, however, under any circumstances, accept a dog treat from our Friendly Neighborhood Vet, Dr. Rad. Ah well. He's a dog. And soon, but soon, he'll be a legal dog, now that I can prove he's been vaccinated. Now when he chooses to take off viking, should Animal Control pick him up, they'll just bring him home.
